A certain adjunct at the University where I'm a grad student uses our grad/faculty lounge as a playroom for her son (about 5 or 6). I mean, you go in there and legos are sprawled everywhere. And she uses the work study student to watch him (hopefully with extra pay, but I'm not sure). I do absolutely blame the university for not having childcare available, and I also understand that using her office would be no better (since she shares with other adjuncts -- another problem with the university), but having your shared space turned into romper room is frustrating.
