Pretty Hobbesian view of humyn nature, at least during childhood, but you're the parents so I guess it's your prerogative. Is outing yourself to your child(ren) at some point part of the game plan? In my experience, coming to age has too many 'I've been lied to' moments as it is, but perhaps the scholarly mind finds such discoveries informative and rewarding. I was (thank God!) raised secular. First time (age 8) I heard the invocation of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I mis-heard it as Holy Experiment.
